Season 2019/2020 Registration
As we come into the closing stages of the current season, we have to start the planning process for next season. Registration will be done using the same online platform as last year.
Registration will open to all clubs, on Monday May 13th.
The process will start with the same team data, inputted for this current season. For teams that simply need to move up a year, that is all you will have to do. You will also be able to remove or add a new team at this time.
This season will see the introduction of three distinct playing blocks, broken down for mini and junior football ages.
Central venues will be an option for U7’s and U8’s. Each team entering the league at the time of registration. The details and costs will be published once we have a view on the numbers involved
Mini Football (U7-U12)
a. These age groups will play three blocks of football detailed as follows:
i. Block 1: Sept 7th – Nov 30th (12wks) (no fixtures w/e October 26th)
ii. Block 2: Feb 1st – March 28th (9wks) (no fixtures w/e February 22nd)
iii. Block 3: April 25th – July 18th (10wks) (no fixtures w/e May 2nd & May 22nd)
b. U7 and U8 will play round robin games of 3 teams
c. U9-U12 will play individual fixtures detailed at the start of the season
d. U9-U12 – there will be no catch-up fixtures. If you miss a game for whatever reason, you move onto the next fixture
Festival & Trophy Events
These will be organised separately to the other junior football age groups, and if they go ahead, would happen towards the end of the season.
Such “cup” competitions would be open to all, and fall outside the current BBDFL cup competition rules.
Allocation of referee’s: Priority will be given to the U13-U21 age groups, there after we will look to appoint any free referee’s to the mini football age groups.
